Deuteronomy 31:8 - “He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
What differentiates a believer from a non-believer?
Only one thing, which is the presence of God and the comforting feeling that He is always there for you.
This is promised, several times in the Bible.
Here are five verses on God's everlasting presence, regardless of what the situation is.
1. Deuteronomy 31: 6 - "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
2. Hebrews 13:5 - "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
3. John 16:33 - "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
God is always with us, especially when we can't see/feel Him (alyssajoy)
4. Isaiah 42:16 - "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."
5. Joshua 1:5 - "No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you."
