Neymar believes Cristiano Ronaldo is set to win his fourth Ballon d'Or ahead of rival Lionel Messi after guiding both Real Madrid and Portugal to major trophies.
Ronaldo and Messi will once again battle it out to be named world player of the year - with the duo winning the last eight Ballon d'Ors between them.
Neymar will be hoping to win the prestigious award for the first time next year but is backing Real Madrid star to close the gap on Messi, who has a record five to his name.

Lance, Neymar said of the Portuguese forward: 'Conquering trophies counts for a lot.
'He won the Champions League and now the Euros. He’s very close [to the Ballon d’Or]. Cristiano is a great player, I’m not hesitant on this.'
Brazil ace Neymar finished third in the race to win last year's Ballon d'Or with Barcelona team-mate and fellow South American Messi taking the top gong ahead of Ronaldo.
All three players were overshadowed by Luis Suarez in the La Liga goalscoring charts last season as the Uruguayan hit the back of the net 40 times to help Barcelona win the league.
Ronaldo scored 35 league goals while Messi, whose season was interrupted through injury, netted 26 times and Neymar contributed 24 goals.
