“By His knowledge, the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew” (Proverbs 3:20)
Don’t ever underestimate the power of what you know. There are things you know that your enemies don’t know. There are benefits that come out of what you know. What you know gives you an edge over your enemies. No wonder the Bible says: “… A hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered”.
Put in another way, God will always make a way of escape for you because of what you know about Him. When your enemies set ambush on your usual way, God will lead you through another way; He will lift you above them. By knowledge, you will be delivered no matter how smart your enemies plot.
“And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches” (Proverbs 24:4). In other words, by knowledge, God will help you to know not only what your enemies do not know but also their secrets. You must take note of the fact that King Abijah knew something that his enemies did not know. That is why he called Jeroboam’s attention to the covenant of salt (II Chronicles 13:3-5).The covenant of salt is a covenant forever. That is why till today the nation of Israel is a nation to reckon with. You must know that as a child of God, you are the spiritual Israel of today and the covenant of salt will also work for you.
