2 Corinthians 8:9
Poverty is a condition of lack or shortage. There are too sides to poverty: spiritual and physical poverty. No matter the kind of poverty you are facing, God has given you victory over it. It is God’s will for His people to live a life of wealth, riches and prosperity not poverty. “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, …” (Genesis 1:28). Poverty is from the devil not God, it is a curse from the scripture. You must rise up and resist poverty as a spiritual issue before you can enjoy prosperity in life. Rise up and claim your prosperity now in Jesus name.
In 3 John 1:2, the Bible says, “Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”. Beloved, God wants to see you operating in prosperity. Refuse to stay in poverty, fight your way into prosperity, God is on your side.
Let us consider some keys to prosperity
Soul Salvation. “He that spared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32). Salvation through Jesus also covers deliverance from lack and poverty. Eternal life includes prosperity.
Understanding the connection between salvation and prosperity. “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon” (Psalms 92:12). The prosperity of God is for His children not strangers. Accepting Jesus into your life entitles you to the wealth of God.
Be conscious of the blessing. “And God bless them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Genesis 1:28). The blessing is a divine empowerment to prosper. You have been blessed in Christ with all spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3). Be blessing conscious.
Beloved, God has already blessed you with prosperity, refuse to accept a life of failure and poverty.
Action Focus: Read the book ‘From Scarcity to Surplus’. You are too blessed to be in poverty.
