Luke 16:10-12 GNB
“Whoever is faithful in small matters will be faithful in large ones; whoever is dishonest in small matters will be dishonest in large ones. If, then, you have not been faithful in handling worldly wealth, how can you be trusted with true wealth? And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what belongs to you?”
There is wisdom needed for the work place, and until you seriously engage that wisdom you may never make the best of your career and your time at work. Things may just be working against you when you fail to connect with God's wisdom for the work place. We looked at the part one of this teaching a few days ago, and today I want us to look at it from a different perspective.
The secret of success in the work place is a wisdom called FAITHFULNESS. I know that most people see faithfulness as a virtue, but beyond that, it is wisdom. And by the way, faithfulness is in dimensions and departments. I want us to look at three departments of faithfulness as mentioned in our text today.
i. Faithfulness in little things:
The way up is down, the way to a thousand miles is one step and the way to plenty is small. A man who cannot manage small cannot handle much. How you handle the little you have been given to do at work is what determines whether much will follow. Promotion only comes based on the assessment of your current assignment or duty. Don't wait to do well when you have been given the big post with big pay. The way up is down.
ii. Faithfulness in money matters:
Jesus called it the unrighteous mammon. Money has a lot of powers, and it is a major determinant of the level of faithfulness of a person. If you can't handle money with integrity, then you are not fit for the top, and you could be messed up in the work place. You must be known for having nothing to do with money that is not your own. You must be known for maintaining your boundaries and strong policies where money matters are concerned.
iii. Faithfulness in another man's business:
Where you are working right now is another man's business if it is not your own business. There are realms of blessings and wealth that you would have disqualified yourself from when you treat your work anyhow, go whenever you like, close at the wrong time, steal and defraud your work place, etc. The rule is simple; treat your work as though it were your own business. Live in your rented house as though it were your own, and use that hotel as though it was your own, etc.
Do these things and you will see only promotions in your life and a very bright future in Jesus Name.

-God over the points again and meditate deeply on them.
Prayer
-Pray each of those points into your life and ask God for His grace to operate freely in this wisdom.
