Topic: Covenant Supervision
“And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slangs it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.”
1 Samuel 17: 49-50
Every covenant, whether for good or bad, is supervised by either a good or bad spirit as well. That is why you see that those who have a covenant with the marine world are engaged in continual battle with the supervisory spirits from there, even after they begin to attend church and genuinely want to opt out. If you want the person to be free, you have to first deal with the demons.
On the other hand, if you have a covenant with God, His angels supervise the covenant. There is a supervising officer that oversees other officers that monitor the covenant. Therefore, when David slung the stone, the supervising angels lined up on both sides and made sure that the stone hit the target, the forehead of Goliath. The stone that David slung hit its target because he understood the covenant and activated it.
In the same vein, supervisory officers come into play to fulfill the covenant of salt. “Ought ye not to know that the Lord God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David forever, even to him and to his sons by covenant of salt?” (II Chro. 13:3-5).Abijah knew the covenant of salt, he understood the covenant of salt and he acted on the covenant of salt hence the covenant worked and gave him victory over his battle with jeroboam. In the name that is above every other name, the covenant in your life, the covenant you have with God, will work for you. When you face your Goliath it will work for you. I am telling you something based on knowledge and understanding. God’s word will never fail.
